Ruth Wiart (Juliebo), started Reel Story Communications in the fall of 2016.

During her 20 year career, Ruth has enjoyed senior roles in broadcast television (CTV and A-Channel), marketing and communications, and digital video production. When entrepreneurship came knocking, it was something she could not ignore!

Ruth’s niche is being able to find, and tell, inspiring stories that are tied to measurable business goals. Whether interviewing a front-line employee, the CEO or the Premiere, Ruth is a natural story-teller, who puts her subjects at ease while capturing their “Real Story”.

In her spare time, Ruth enjoys travelling the world - delving into diverse cultures by seeing the world through local eyes.

She is passionate about giving back and volunteers with dementia patients.

Kim joined Reel Story Communications after spending 20 great years producing videos both as a video shooter and editor at NAIT. A graduate of MacEwan University's Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications, Kim's portfolio ranges from curriculum videos to award-winning promotional videos. The wide variety of projects and the collaboration to tell a story are two of Kim's favorite things about working in video production. No two projects are ever the same. A passionate hockey fan, when Kim isn't in the edit suite you can find him in the local arenas coaching his daughters with the Edmonton Girl's Hockey Association.

Jaylene is a recent NAIT Television and Radio graduate. She's had a passion for editing videos since she was a little girl and now she feels lucky that she gets to tell other people's stories through video too. When she's not behind her computer editing, she likes to spend her spare time in other creative ways. She loves to paint, journal, craft and to curl up with her dog and a good book!

Nathaniel is a graduate of NAIT’s Digital Media program. He has a keen eye for capturing beautiful, creative and emotionally-powerful shots. He is especially passionate about producing music videos and concert specials.

When he’s not behind a camera or editing, you’ll find Nathaniel enjoying the great outdoors with backcountry hikes, canoe trips and camping.
